The Man Who Loved Trains
On October 21, 2019, the Paul Delvaux exhibition was inaugurated at Train World. From his first drawings from the 1920s to his imposing paintings from the 1970s, around 50 works of the master are majestically displayed in Train World.

A Full Day of Coverage and celebration
The official opening was split into 2 major events: the press conference in the morning, and the VIP dinner in the evening. Both settings were decorated with Delvaux’s works, while keeping his distinctive mood throughout the different spaces.
A play of Night and Day, Inside and outside
Inside the main hall of Train World, clouds simulating the passage of time were projected on the ceiling. Works were also projected on the windows of the venue. The outside of the building featured a custom-made gobo, allowing to showcase the master’s work on the facade for everybody to admire.

The event was attented by VIPs including Jean-Claude Fontinoy, Pieter Jonckers, Sophie Dutordoir, Camille Brasseur, Sophie Wilmès and Didier Reynders.
